Being able to be a part of another human's journey to find themselves is truly my joy.
Therapy with Katelin
You may be someone who has been carrying a lot for a long time. Trauma, identity stress, or past relationships may still show up in your body, emotions, or patterns, even when you understand them logically. You might feel disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward, while still wanting therapy that feels safe, affirming, and respectful. In our work together, I aim to create a space where you don’t have to explain or defend who you are, and where growth isn’t rushed or forced.

I specialize in working with queer clients and individuals healing from complex trauma, anxiety, and stress. My approach often includes EMDR and parts-informed (IFS-informed) work, with an emphasis on building safety, nervous system regulation, and deeper self-understanding. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced, focusing on gently shifting patterns that no longer serve you while honoring your autonomy and readiness for change.
I have been providing therapy services since 2017. Prior to private practice, I worked with families involved in the child welfare system who had experienced abuse, neglect, addiction, sexual trauma, and community violence. That work continues to shape how I show up as a therapist today — grounded, trauma-informed, and deeply attentive to what it means to feel heard and supported in difficult systems.

I am proud of you for starting this journey for yourself, whether that is with me or another provider.
Background & Fun Info
A bit of background on how I got here: I’ve wanted to be a therapist since eighth grade. I still have an old careers-class paper from middle school outlining how I planned to become a psychologist. That curiosity carried through high school, where I took every psychology course I could, and into college at Anderson University, where I earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology. I later completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Ball State University in 2017.
