Hello, my name is Hayden, and I am thrilled to be an intern at Attuned Mind Counseling Services, LLC. I am currently in my second year of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s Program at Ball State University, where I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2024. My academic journey has allowed me to study a wide range of topics related to mental health and human development.​

I am passionate about supporting individuals ages 10 and up as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and work toward personal growth. I also enjoy working with couples and relationships of all kinds, helping partners build stronger connections and find new ways to thrive together. Above all, I strive to create a safe, affirming, and compassionate space where you can express yourself freely and grow at your own pace.​

I know therapy can feel challenging, and I want to walk alongside you in that journey to make it a little bit easier. I’m proud of you for taking this first step toward healing and self-discovery!

Hayden is supervised at AMCS by Kathy Slaughter, LCSW as well as Dr. Maugherman as his internship professor at Ball State University.

Intern Counseling Rates

Attuned Mind Counseling Services offers reduced-fee sessions with our graduate-level counseling interns to make therapy more accessible for those paying out of pocket.

Intern sessions are available on a pay-what-you-can basis, with sessions as low as $0.

​

Our interns are advanced master’s students in an accredited counseling program through Ball State University and receive weekly supervision from licensed clinicians. They provide high-quality care under close guidance while offering a more flexible, budget-friendly option for therapy.
