FAQs

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes! Most of our clinicians offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. You’ll receive a secure video link through our portal before each appointment.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we work with a range of insurance providers. We'll verify your benefits before your first session and let you know about any copays or out-of-pocket costs.

Can I bring someone with me to my session?

Absolutely. A trusted friend or family member is welcome to accompany you—especially if it helps you feel more comfortable.

How long is each therapy session?

Sessions are 50 minutes long. If you're interested in extended sessions, this can be discussed in advance with your provider and may result in an additional cost.

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first session will be a safe, introductory meeting—similar to a doctor’s check-up. We’ll review your goals, talk about your history, and map out a plan to help you feel more comfortable.

What if I don’t want to use insurance?

Self-pay is always an option. Our flat rates are:
-
Graduate Interns: $60 per session
-
Pre-Licensed Associates: $100 per session
-
Fully Licensed Clinicians: $125 per session

Is therapy confidential?

Yes—with a few important exceptions. We are mandated reporters and must take action if there are concerns about your safety or someone else’s.
If you’re using insurance, we are also required to provide your insurer with a diagnosis and may need to submit session details for reimbursement. We’ll review this thoroughly at your first appointment.
