Therapy with Jenna
Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions on your own. Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. Every person has a unique story, and I strive to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that fits your needs. Whether you're working through past trauma, navigating relationship difficulties, managing overwhelming emotions, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, we'll work together to help you move toward the life you want.

I work with adolescents and adults facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, emotional regulation, self-esteem, stress management, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also have experience working with individuals involved in the legal system and those navigating complex life circumstances.

My therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I tailor these approaches to each client's goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Jenna is supervised and trained by Becky August, LCSW
Background Info
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with experience working in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, emergency mental health services, and hospital settings. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, mood disorders, grief, life stressors, and substance use concerns. My background in crisis work has taught me how to remain calm and supportive during life's most difficult moments while helping clients build hope and practical strategies for lasting change.
Outside of the therapy room, I am passionate about continuing my education and expanding my clinical expertise. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Forensic Psychology with the goal of becoming a certified forensic evaluator, allowing me to further serve individuals at the intersection of mental health and the legal system.
